ESPN REPORT: Confirm 5 Out 24 Head Coaches Promoted, and 19 Are Fired

The list of all the hires and firings that 247Sports has confirmed for the 2023–24 coaching carousel seasons is shown below. In the FBS, between 500 and 600 coaches take on new roles annually. In the 2022–2023 cycle, about 509 coaches—24 of them were head coaches—changed positions, according to statistics from 247Sports.
