Celtics injury Report Of Super Star Ready To Play The Heat In Game 3.
On Sunday, April 21, 2024, in Boston, during the first half of Game 1 of an NBA basketball first-round playoff series, forward Jayson Tatum (0) of the Boston Celtics drives toward the hoop while Miami Heat forward Haywood Highsmith (24) defends.
In Game 3 of the first round, the Celtics will play the Heat at full strength. Luke Kornet is the sole player on the injury report for them; he is categorized as probable due to a right calf strain. The whole roster of the C’s is healthy aside from ailments.
Despite being a dependable bench big man throughout the regular season, Kornet missed the first two games. He injured his calf during pre-playoff training, but given the likely classification, it doesn’t seem significant.
Although Kornet may be called upon by C’s coach Joe Mazzulla for Game 3, he has already employed an eight-man rotation in Games 1 and 2.
As strong favorites, the Celtics want to recover from a devastating home loss in Game 2. The second half saw the Celtics offense go cold as well, and the undermanned Heat laid them low with 3-pointers. The series ended with a 1-1 draw despite the Celtics winning Game 1 handily.
The series will now move to Miami for Games 3 and 4, where the C’s had a 5-2 record at the Kaseya Center in the previous two postseasons.
