NBA News: Just Today Super Star Named After NBA As The Best Of All Time Scorer

In the NBA playoffs, the Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in the opening round, but all Canadians can talk about is Jamal Murray.

Has Jamal Murray just freed Canada from LeBronto’s grasp?

The Toronto Raptors’ failure to advance to the NBA Playoffs does not imply that Canadians are without hope for the postseason.

In reality, Raptors supporters have an abundance of narratives to follow, ranging from former Raptors leading their teams to triumphs to Canadians demonstrating to the world that they are producing some of the finest basketball players in the world.

In the last five seconds of a playoff series, Jamal Murray is the only player from the play-by-play era (1997–1998) to have scored two game-winning field goals. #NBAPlayoffs with Google Pixel as the sponsor

The Denver Nuggets’ domination against the Los Angeles Lakers and LeBron James has been one of the greatest tales of the NBA Playoffs’ opening round. Jamal Murray’s late-game baskets clinched games four and five for the Nuggets, who defeated the Lakers on Monday night to win the series.

That’s Jamal Murray from Kitchener, Ontario, for you.

In this series, Murray had a run of games where he struggled in the first three quarters but rebounded well in the fourth. Murray finished the game with 32 points, including the game-winning basket, to eliminate the Lakers in Monday’s fifth-place match. In spite of just shooting 40% from the field, he averaged 23.6 points for the series.

Last night, Jamal Murray scored 17 points in a playoff game, which is three more than any other Canadians have ever scored in an NBA playoff game combined.

All of that is fantastic, and it was entertaining to watch the Nuggets go to the next round, but as Canadians stayed up late to watch the game, they couldn’t help but think about LeBronto.

For the benefit of our younger readers, LeBron James was a player for the Cleveland Cavaliers, a small Eastern Conference team.

Throughout his time there, Cleveland thoroughly destroyed the Toronto Raptors in the postseason on several occasions, extending the team’s hopes for a title and giving rise to the moniker “LeBronto.” In a sense, LeBron controlled Toronto. It’s a dark, dark moment.
