Houston Texans Latest News: DeMeco Ryans Set To Return Another Legend Back From…

One of the AFC’s dark horses for the next season should be the Texans.

Even though Watt has had injuries, he is perhaps the best player in team history, so it would be encouraging to see him back in the trenches, even for a few games.

Watt expressed his hope that this wouldn’t be the case and that everyone kept healthy, saying he would only return if he thought the team needed him.

Interestingly, he volunteered his services before the Texans emerged as the league’s biggest surprise and most improved team, which says volumes about his trust in his old buddy as a coach and how much he loved the Texans.

In response to J.J. Watt’s desire to go back to Houston, DeMeco Ryans says: “I’ve got his number ready to go”

Watt asserted that he is still training and maintaining his physical condition, but he also said that he wouldn’t continue in that manner forever and that this year would likely be the last one in which he would contemplate returning.

In light of this, Ryans would undoubtedly welcome him with open arms, since he recently made a suggestion that he would call him in order to make a return (via Around The NFL):

According to Sean Pendergast of SportsRadio 610, Ryans stated on Monday, “I love to hear J.J. saying he’s ready.”

“I’m prepared with his phone number in case we require him. .. I’m glad that it’s available from him since I might need to make that call.

Legendary Houston Texans player J.J. Watt was in the news a few days ago in NFL circles.

The former Defensive Player of the Year said that he had contacted HC DeMeco Ryans last season regarding a possible return, and he stated that the offer remained open for this season.
