With the 49ers, Charvarius Ward has emerged as a star.
Eye-opening injury report provided by 49ers’ Charvarius Ward: serious surgery may have been necessary.
This offseason, 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward underwent surgery, but he appears to be doing rather well.
With training camp quickly approaching, San Francisco 49ers cornerback Charvarius Ward gave some encouraging news about his condition after undergoing surgery earlier this summer to treat a groin issue he sustained back in December.
During an interview on the Up & Adams Show, Ward stated, “I’m still rehabbing.” “I’m attempting to resume running at my maximum speed and doing everything else. However, I feel OK. My condition has greatly improved from a few months ago. I was in a lot of pain even at the end of the previous season. I had severe pains in my abdominal, groin, and back. However, I battled and persevered through it.
Ward continued, saying he will be prepared for training camp without a doubt.
For the 49ers, this is important news since Ward plays a big role in San Francisco’s excellent defense.
OTAs are presently being conducted in San Francisco. On June 4, it will begin its required minicamp.
