Stefon Diggs’ Departure from Buffalo Bills to Houston Texans, Major Impact on 2024 Season?
Two months after the Buffalo Bills shocked the NFL by trading star wide receiver Stefon Diggs to the Houston Texans, Diggs addressed the media for the first time since the trade.
Discussing his departure on Tuesday, June 4, Diggs revealed that the trade didn’t catch him off guard. “I kind of felt that it was going that direction throughout the season [in Buffalo],” he said. “I had some ups and downs, especially after the first eight [games]… Kinda felt it in the air a little bit.”
Reflecting on the trade, Diggs expressed his satisfaction with the move. “When I got traded? I was happy. I was in a good place,” he noted.
Diggs described his new environment in Houston as “a breath of fresh air” multiple times but maintained positive sentiments about his former teammate, Bills quarterback Josh Allen.
The transition of Diggs to the Texans is poised to have a significant impact on the 2024 season, potentially reshaping the dynamics for both the Houston Texans and the Buffalo Bills.
