Drew Gordon, Former NBA Forward and Brother of Aaron Gordon, Dies in Autocycle Crash.
Drew Gordon, a former NBA forward and the older brother of Denver Nuggets’ player Aaron Gordon, tragically passed away on May 30 in Oregon.
The fatal accident occurred when the three-wheeled autocycle he was driving collided with a GMC Sierra pick-up truck. Gordon, who was 33 years old, had last played professionally for the Rising Zephyr Fukuoka team in Japan in 2023.
According to reports, Gordon was discovered deceased at around 1 p.m. at the crash site, located in an unincorporated area of Clackamas County, Oregon.
He was driving a Vanderhall Carmel three-wheeled vehicle at the time of the incident. The investigation conducted by county deputies revealed that Gordon was not believed to be under the influence of any substances when he “crossed over the center line,” leading to the collision.
