Could Odell Beckham Jr. sign with the receiver-hungry Steelers?
One recently released Miami Dolphins player could be the difference for the Black and Gold in what has been an up-and-down roller coaster for the Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver group over the past few weeks. The Dolphins and former All-Pro wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. have decided to part ways, with Beckham looking for other playing options.
With significant ramifications lurking over the next weeks, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ top concern going into the 2024 regular season is still their dire need for receiver assistance. Beckham and the Steel City appear to be a marriage made in heaven, especially because Steelers wide receiver George Pickens is out with a hamstring ailment and has not been assigned a return date.
Beckham would instantly be an upgrade to the depleted Steelers wide receiver room, and when Pickens is healthy, this terrifying tandem would be tough for opposing secondaries to contain. In the meantime, Pittsburgh Steelers WRs Calvin Austin III, Mike Williams, Van Jefferson, and Scotty Miller will do their best to fill the void left by Pickens.
