. However, Monday marked a significant achievement for head coach Chris Klieman and his team when Cure, a tight end from Goodland, declared his commitment to the Wildcats during a ceremony at his high school.
Cure has always felt a strong connection to Kansas State, having attended games there as a child, which fostered his love for football. Ranked among the top 65 players in the high school recruiting class of 2025 and one of the best in the Sunflower State, Cure expressed his honor in representing the Wildcats, recalling a moment of reflection during his official visit.
This commitment is noteworthy as Cure is the first five-star high school recruit to pledge to K-State since 2000.
