On Monday, the Edmonton Oilers confirmed that they have extended a one-year, two-way contract to forward Raphael Lavoie, valued at $775,000. Lavoie, who stands six feet four inches tall and is 23 years old, primarily played with the Bakersfield Condors, the Oilers’ American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, throughout the 2023-24 season.
This contract reaffirms the Oilers’ commitment to Lavoie, allowing him to continue his development within their organization while also providing him with the opportunity to contribute to the NHL team if called upon.
The move reflects the team’s confidence in Lavoie’s potential and their strategy to further cultivate his skills in both the AHL and NHL arenas.
