ATLANTA BRAVES LATEST: Just In Today Braves Confirm Another 2 Return & Option One Talented Superstar From….

The Atlanta Braves recently made several roster adjustments, including sending left-handed pitcher Zach Logue outright to the Gwinnett Stripers. This move was part of a series of late-night decisions by the Braves’ management.

Daysbel Hernández, who had been called up as the 27th man for a double-header against the Cincinnati Reds, was returned to Gwinnett. Unfortunately, the second game of the double-header was canceled due to rain. Hernández, a right-handed reliever, has made a solid impact this season, pitching in nine games without allowing a run in 9.2 innings.

Zach Logue’s demotion to the Stripers came after the Braves made a few key moves earlier in the day. Logue was added to the 40-man roster when the team placed outfielder Michael Harris II on the 60-day injured list. Additionally, Allan Winans was optioned back to Triple-A after his appearance in the first game of the double-header.

Logue has had a varied career so far, spending significant time with the Stripers this season. He has appeared in 19 games for Gwinnett, including 11 starts. Last year, Logue had brief stints with the Detroit Tigers, where he pitched in three games, and with the Oakland A’s in 2022, where he made 14 appearances, including 10 starts.

These roster moves reflect the Braves’ ongoing adjustments as they navigate the remainder of the season. By returning Hernández and sending Logue to Gwinnett, the team is managing its resources and making room for other players while addressing their current roster needs.
